Adolescent
Therapy

Adolescence can be a challenging time. Youth are often caught in a struggle for their identity and independence from the family but don't yet have all the tools they need to succeed. Therapy can be a space for youth to explore issues related to identity, feelings, and relationships. My approach to working with youth is playful, creative, compassionate, authentic, and trauma-informed. I've worked extensively with youth as they navigate issues related to anxiety, depression, divorce, and relationships. I also have experience working within the school system helping youth and families access, initiate, and understand IEP and 504 plans.

Individual
Therapy

People are unique but share many of the same struggles. Individual therapy can have powerful results in moving people towards positive change in their lives. People seek counseling because something in their life isn't working. Perhaps you're wanting a greater connection with yourself, or want more fulfilling relationships with others. Maybe you are worrying and depressed to the point that it is interfering with your life and relationships. Maybe you are in a career that you want to move beyond but you are not sure what the first step is. Individual therapy can offer hope, direction and re-connection.

Clinical
Supervision

I have over five years experience offering clinical supervision and LOVE this part of my work.  My supervision is informed by family systems, IFS, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care. This includes a focus in creating a safe environment & relationship with supervisee’s while supporting clinical growth through the awareness of trauma exposure and how it affects the mind, body, and nervous systems in relationship to working with clients. I can currently only supervise towards licensure in WA state but happy to offer consultation services to Oregon interns.

Therapy Sessions
My Approach

I honor the courage it takes to begin the therapy journey. It's a brave and scary endeavor, and I'm so glad you're here. I strive to create a warm, approachable, and safe environment in which clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore all parts of self. I work to build a caring, authentic, and collaborative client-therapist relationship, while fostering and nurturing the therapeutic alliance. During the Covid 19 pandemic I am providing all services via telehealth.
